Allison goes sledding

We're IN!

I don't know the exact date yet, Hannah says it was sometime last week, but we're in PGN. Woo-hoo! Now the real waiting begins. There are all kinds of rumors flying around, but I'm trying not to worry. I asked if we could schedule another visit trip, assuming we'd be told to wait if there were a real chance of things changing drastically very soon. And when I jokingly emailed this to Bob, his response was "So, when are we going?" Hmmmm ........

She was holding out on us!

We really are out of family court and just didn't know it. So, as soon as someone picks up our pre-approval, which could take a few days, we'll be submitted to PGN.

The director says that the last two cases they've submitted have come through PGN in six weeks with no previos. Unfortunately, they've also had some languishing for months. My hope is we'll be the former!

So, best case scenario is now about 10 - 12 more weeks. I can't believe it! I want my sweet Bobby home, even if we have to put him in the dog crate in our room! Okay, I'll move out the dog crate and put up the Pack-n-Play. ;-)

Pre-Approval!!!!

Wow, how exciting it was to see that message from "DONOTREPLY, Guatenotices" in my inbox! I'm really hoping that we are out of Family Court, but just don't know it yet and will go in to PGN very, very soon.

Post-visit crash

Well, I knew it was bound to happen. After getting home on Wednesday, I've been busy telling everyone about the trip and putting together web photo albums and ordering picture prints. Allison had a great time with Mom-mom and Pop, but was very glad to have us back. She has wanted us very close to her at all times. She cried this morning when Bob left for his first Spanish class. I haven't had time to miss Bobby very much.

Then, I started working on the huge pile of laundry. Well, folding up his clean clothes and wondering if he's still going to fit in them next time is just too hard. Allison is quickly getting over her excitement at having us home again and is now off playing in her room. I miss my little guy terribly and I'm so sad right now.
