My other daughter

I just realized that all of my entries were Allison, Allison, Allison.

Our 'contract' for Amanda to get her license is dependent on her grades. Bob called her World History teacher today to see how she was doing, and she has an A. Wow! Is this my Amanda? She is doing so great so far this year. I'm so proud of her. Looks like she'll be driving in a few weeks. Eek!!!!

Evil Baby!

Look at this pic! Ha! My sweet little angel looks like she's having some devilish thoughts.

Is that a black eye?

Allison got her first boo-boo yesterday. She fell onto a bike at daycare and bumped her eye on a handlebar. Poor thing. She looks like she went a few rounds in the boxing ring. I keep telling myself it's just the first of many.

Not a big hit

Well, the swimming lesson didn't go quite as well as we expected. She cried through most of the class. Bob thinks it's because it was just so loud in there. He could barely hear the instructors. Perhaps she'll enjoy it more next week.

Today, we went to the Open House at the Humane Society. Allison liked the kitties, but wasn't impressed by the birdies.

A-Swimmin'

Allison is currently at her first swimming class. She and Bob started the Skippers class at the YMCA this morning. She loves the water, so I'm sure she'll have a great time. Here she is a few minutes ago in her new ladybug bathing suit.

She's walking!

Allison has been taking steps for about a week or so. But on Wednesday, September 8, 2004, she really got the hang of it. She still falls down a lot, but she gets where she wants to go. I can't believe how fast this past year has flown by.
