Foster mom call

We finally got in touch with our foster mother last night. She sounds like a wonderful woman! She was happy to hear from us and just about talked our ears off. She told us how they had to go for paperwork last week (the DNA and SWI) and that Marvin had been sick with a virus that's going around, but he's taking medicine now and doing much better. He's a very good baby. She's had five foster children and Marvin is her favorite of them all, though I'm sure she says that to every parent! She has two little girls of her own and they all love the baby to death. She was thrilled that he would have two sisters and not be an only child. She is looking forward to meeting us next month. She promised to take very good care of him for us. She said his birth mother was very sweet. We have her address so I can send some Christmas gifts to everyone.

All-in-all, I couldn't have imagined it would go any better than it did. She even speaks slowly enough that I could at least get the jist of everything she said. My sister-in-law, on the other hand, left me in the dust. Most of the time, I had no idea what she was saying!
